On Sunday December 15th, the Vista Historical Society held its annual Christmas party. For the first time the party was held at the museum. This was also the first time that it was held outdoors. Taking advantage of the site, the party included vendor booths. This was something that we had never done before at the Christmas party. Eleven vendors participated, Family Affair Ceramics, Good Day Media, Color Street, Beaded Designs, Aunt Nancy's Fancies, Dragonfire, Mimi's Attic & Garden, Laura Nall, T & C Baskets, and Makenlief. The entertainment was also something we had never done before. Two groups of young singers entertained the large assemblage of partygoers. These were the Star Theater Company Academy Star Kids and Glee Club under the direction of Sandra Kopitzke Associate Producer / Resident Music Director of the Star Theater Company.

The food and work at the party were provided by the entire board of directors of the Vista Historical Society as well as several others including Carol Graham, Barbara Meech, Rod Chiriboga and Janice Klafehn.

Santa Claus was there sitting under our tall Christmas tree donated by Home Depot. He gave many presents to the children in attendance.

The board of directors were assisted by Vista Princess and Princesses and Pride of Vista Princesses. The whole party was a great success managed by event co-chairs Caroline Chiriboga and Michele Moxley.

Many thanks to everyone who participated and assisted at the party Also a great thank you to Terry Moxley, our treasurer, who got the site ready for the party.
